Iran Press/Iran News: Pointing to plans considered for the 40th anniversary of Sacred Defense, Salehi stressed that the programs will be held for the countries who are active in Resistance Axis, and for those who are familiar with the Martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleiman's character.
The Iranian Minister went on to say that, "since the cities of Khuzestan province has played a very significant role during the Sacred Defense years, the ceremony will be held in Khuzestan Province."
According to Salehi, "many programs will be staged in Arabic due to the fact that most of the inhabitants of Khuzestan province speak the language."
Speaking on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of Lieutenant General Soleimani's bust, the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance described Martyr Soleimani's figure as brave, wise, and vigilant.
In response to Iran Press's question about the influence of Lt. Gen. Soleimani's character, Salehi emphasized continuing the martyr's path.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is on the eve of the 40th anniversary of Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq War).
Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein launched the war on 22 September 1980 with the support of major powers especially the US and its allies in the region in 1980, a year after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
During the eight-year-long war, Iraq received all-out support from over twenty countries led by the United States.
