Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mohammad Eslami said on Friday that the Khaf-Herat railway would be built by the joint investment of Iran and Afghanistan, adding that Iran's part is almost complete.
According to Mohammad Eslami, the railway has 66 km long from the borderline to Khaf in northeastern Iran, and it will connect Afghanistan's railway to Iran's and the rest of the world's network.
The connection between the two countries via railways, the possibility of goods export and import between the two countries through the network, and Afghanistan's connection to high seas are of the advantages of the construction project. 212/ 207
