Iran Press/Middle East: In response to allegations by the US ambassador to Beirut Dorothy Shea, the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon tweeted on Monday that the more US ambassador to Beirut says nonsense, the more she and her country become disgraceful.
The Iranian embassy in Lebanon stressed that the US ambassador to Beirut has no right to insult another country with what it claims. In an interview with Saudi television channel Al-Hadath last Friday, Dorothy Shea claimed that Hezbollah is destabilizing the country and jeopardizing Lebanon's economic recovery.
The US ambassador to Beirut also threatened to impose sanctions on Lebanese allies and supporters of Hezbollah.
