Iranian Foreign Minister Spokesman strongly condemned

Tehran(IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister Spokesman strongly condemned the resolution and said while Iran has the highest level of cooperation with the IAEA, adoption of a resolution by the Board of Governors is a completely unconstructive, irresponsible and disappointing step.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman rejected the politically motivated and non-technical resolution of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), saying: "While the Islamic Republic of Iran has the highest level of cooperation with the IAEA, adoption of a resolution by the Board of Governors is a completely non-constructive and disappointing step in this regard.

Seyed Abbas Mousavi added: " exaggeration of the Agency's requests by some governments, led by the United States, while the basis for such requests is questionable by the Agency is a clear effort to create a new crisis for the cooperation between Iran and the IAEA."

He called on members of the Board of the Governors to be vigilant in the face of US and Israeli efforts to reopen old forged cases that had previously been substantiated and closed by the IAEA Board of Governors itself.

Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman praised the governments that have refrained from accompanying the resolution by carefully analyzing the situation and recognizing the political goals behind the resolution.

He stated that those member states of the IAEA Board of Governors that voted in favor of the resolution were expected to understand the hidden goals of the Zionist regime and the US regime, not to try to create new unnecessary tension in the international arena.

Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman strongly condemned the actions of the three European countries, Britain, France and Germany, in introducing the resolution, calling it a move under US pressure, noting: "the three governments, which have been completely incapable of fulfilling their commitments under JCPOA, intend to flee forward and evade their obligations to Iran.

Seyed Abbas Mousavi added at the end: "This resolution is explicitly an excessive political demand from the United States and the three European countries, and the Islamic Republic of Iran does not accept excessive demands from any country or organization.

He said: "The responsibility for creating tension in the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the IAEA lies with the founders of this resolution, and these countries must accept the consequences of this action."
