Tehran (IP) - In a response to the recent US decision about sanctioning some of the officials of the International Criminal Court, Iran's Foreign Minister said that the ICC "now blackmailed by lawless gang posing as diplomats."

Iran Press/Iran News: Mohammad Javad Zarif condemned the US decision on his Twitter account on Thursday, criticizing global silence towards Washington's behavior.

"What else will it take for the global community to wake up & smell the consequences of appeasing the bully?" Zarif wrote.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order on Thursday against officials of the International Criminal Court, authorizing economic sanctions against them as well as the expansion of visa restrictions on the officials and their families.
