Tehran (IP) - Iran's Parliament Speaker referred to the terrorist attack on the Iranian Parliament in 2017, saying the intelligence services of the United States, Israel, and some countries in the region were behind the ISIS attack.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at a Parliament's open session on Sunday Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf referred to the anniversary of the terrorist attacks that occurred in 2017, carried out by ISIS against the Iranian Parliament building and the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, saying: "The enemy would not have refrained from committing any crime against the Iranian nation."

Although this was apparently a terrorist attack by ISIS, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament said that it has now been established that the intelligence services of the United States, Israel, and some countries in the region were also behind the attack. 

The Iranian senior official went on to say that the martyrs of the attack are national heroes, whose blood reminds everyone of the value of the fight against terrorism.

The open session of Iran's Parliament kicked off Sunday chaired by Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf. 

The Minister of Economy Farhad Dejpasand also reported on the state of the country's economic issues, as well as the performance of the heads of the tax, stock exchange, and customs organizations.
