Iran Press/Iran news: The joint meeting of the Ministry of Defense with the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament was held with the attendance of the Minister of Defense, Deputy Ministers and members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.
During the meeting, Brigadier General Amir Hatami expressing the defense progress in the field of ground, air, naval, electronic and aerospace, and especially the missile achievements that have always been a pain in the neck of the enemies of Islam, noted, “The Ministry of Defense in this area in the first two years of the current government, reached a multiplied quality."
Expressing significant progress in the field of air defense, the Minister of Defense pointed to the unveiling and operation of various short, medium and long-range air defense systems - Bavar 373 and Khordad 15 and said: "Relying on these completely indigenous achievements, we were able to secure the sky of Iran more than ever."
In another part of his remarks, the Minister of Defense, referring to the existing infrastructure and actual capacities of the Ministry of Defense, expressed the organization's extensive measures in combating and controlling the spread of corona disease from the earliest days of the virus
He noted, “In the face of this virus, the national and the states of the world witnessed the extensive measures taken by the Islamic Republic and the national solidarity in areas such as prevention, prevention of human casualties, provision of health and medical equipment in spite of comprehensive sanctions, and once again the capabilities and power of the Islamic Republic became clear to everyone."
