Iran Press/ Iran News: The domain of the official website of "Iran" at Iran-newspaper.com was blocked by the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
The Guardian Council Spokesman wrote in his twitter page on Monday, "In addition to assassinating individuals and economic assassinations (sanctions), the US regime has now resorted to media assassinations and has intensified its terrorist record by confiscating the domains of the Iranian media.".
The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is a financial intelligence and enforcement agency of the US Treasury Department. It administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions on the pretext of supporting US national security and foreign policy objectives.
OFAC has previously acted against Iran's financial, executive, and media legal entities.
