Europe, partner in US inhuman acts against Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Association of University Professors in a letter addressed world international bodies, calling European hypocritical governments like the US accomplice in crimes orchestrated against Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Association of university professors in a letter to the international organizations condemned US unilateral and unlawful sanctions against the great nation of Iran calling it a breach of both international laws, human rights, and moral principles.

Calling the US administration as the tyrant government, the letter emphasized that the US sanctions against Iran are also out of the US insisting on its excessive, monopolistic and hegemonic intentions at the time when the pandemic threat of the COVID-19 is considered as a humanitarian catastrophe.

"You know very well, and beforehand, righteous and truth-seeking nations and governments know that US primary and secondary sanctions in all areas are apparent and explicit violations of established international laws. These sanctions, particularly in the areas of medicine, food, air transport, metals, automotive, construction and civil engineering, finance and banking, as well as defense, highlights the inhuman side of this cruel government's criminal acts against independent nations, especially the Iranian people", added the letter.

The Iranian Associations of University Professors elsewhere called the European hypocritical governments, claiming human rights, as the US partner in crime due to their lack of a proper and effective response to US inhuman acts, whether by responsible international organizations or the European hypocritical governments.

The letter also called denial of the Iranian nation of their fundamental rights and also preventing them from seriously countering the spread of the Coronavirus and its eradication as a crime against humanity.

These inhuman sanctions are carried out with the consent and even companionship of so-called human rights governments, under the pressure from international Zionism, and in the light of some of the reactionary governments in the region.

The policy of "American maximum pressure" against the Iranian nation through the use of cruel and illegal sanctions has had a negative impact on the enjoyment of human rights in our country without discrimination (people's color, race, religion, ethnicity, and political orientation).

The letter also urged the international bodies to break the silence on human rights violations and the continuation of this crime against the right to life.
