Iran Press/ Iran news: The first military drill of The Islamic Republic of Iran Army Ground Forces, held in Darengun Rural District southern Shiraz, serves as Iran's manifestation of power.
The event was aimed at reviewing Iran's preparedness in terms of defense and martial arts. Iran's army usually holds military exercises according to the annual calendar.
They aim at reviewing Iran' s latest military-defense tactics. The drill held on Thursday includes tactical exercises of moving units, attack units, quick reaction forces (QRF) and Airborne Brigade.
The importance of military drills performed by Iran's armed forces especially Iran's army relies on the native nature of the military equipment used in these events so that when tested, the successful results together with Iran' s military and tactical capabilities, have led to the double increase of Iran's power of deterrence.
Meanwhile, Iran's Army plays important role in safeguarding the country's territorial integrity and that is why forces of Iran's s army on the land, in the air or at the sea are always ready to conduct the missions.205
