Iran Press/ Iran news: Referring to the US maximum pressure on Iran the Governor of Central Bank (CBI ) Abdolnaser Hemmati said from now on efforts should be focused on Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF), reduction of budget reliance on oil, and securing the economy against fluctuations in oil revenues and accelerating the banking system reform.
"At the beginning of the economic war and the US sanctions on banking and Iranian oil exports (2018, Nov 4) forecasting a year later was difficult and somewhat worrying," Governor of Central Bank underlined, Iran Press reported.
"With the continuation of maximum pressure, the United States did not achieve its main goal namely collapsing the economy and ultimately bringing Iran to its knees," governor of CBI wrote on his Instagram page.
"After two years the price of the US dollar started to decrease," Hemmati said.
