The secretary-general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, in a special message to the Iranian Foreign Minister, condemned US sanctions against him.

Iran Press/Middle East"I and my brothers decided to support you against the US imposed sanctions and to express our solidarity and respect," Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said in his special message to Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The secretary-general of the Hezbollah added that he decided to delay sending this message of solidarity till today, the 14 August, the day which "Lebanese resistance movement, Hezbollah with Iran's support defeated the US and Zionist regime in a 33-Day War in 2006," Iran Press reported.

"You are the loud voice in all international instances, who speaks the truth in the face of the world's fiercest tyrants, that is the US and Trump," he added. 

"They wanted to besiege, isolate and terrorize you. Yet, your presence and influence only became stronger," Nasrallah noted.

On July 31, the US departments of State and Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions against Zarif. 101/205
