Chairman of Parliament’s national security and foreign policy commission has reiterated that America is deeply aware of its vulnerabilities and shortcomings in fighting with Iran and knows very well managing a remote war against Iran is impossible.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Saturday on the sideline of an open session of the Majlis (parliament), Heshmatolah Falahatpisheh commented on dispatch of US military forces to this region.

He said: "We believe America does not have a well-thought-through plan, even though it is sending troops, threatening Iran and even calling for talks and negotiations with Iranians. It is more of a psychological war, an attempt to threaten, and a bluff. They know they can't enter into a war with Iran."

America is deeply aware of its vulnerabilities and its inability to fight Iran, and managing a remote war against Iran is impossible, that is why they have opted for a psychological war, the chairman of Majlis national security and foreign policy commission pointed out.

Sending several thousand troops and military forces to the Middle East is simply an attempt to cover up its weaknesses and an attempt to make up for its withdrawal of military forces from the Middle East region in 2011, he added.

Heshmatolah Falahatpisheh stressed: "It is important to know whether any war will be waged or not, Iran is ready to act against any military and psychological war. We are ready." 101/211
