Tehran-IP Iran’s distinguished exporters convened to be honored at the 27th National Export’s Day on Oct, 20, 2023.

Iran PressIran news: The ceremony was held at Tehran Summit Hall on Saturday by the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) in collaboration with the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA).

The ceremony was attended by Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Abbas Aliabadi, Iran's Parliament Economic Commission Chief, Mohammad-Mehdi Pourebrahimi, and Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari.

Opening the ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy said: that Iran has around 300- 400 million dollars of knowledge-based projects in Latin American countries.

Underlining the positive measures taken by the 13th government administration for the development of the country’s non-oil trade, Mehdi Safari said: Export is not the only way to make foreign currency for Iran, exporting technical and engineering services and technology are the other important ways to make foreign currency.

The official pointed out that facilitating transit is also a source of currency for the country.

Safari stated: An Iranian knowledge-based company has taken gas transmission networks, pumping stations, and monitored them with special software in a country, the first phase of which will reach about 100 million dollars and a total of about 1.2 million dollars.
