In May, Iran produced 2.698 thousand barrels of oil per day.

According to OPEC reports, Iran's oil production was as follows: 2.625 million barrels in April, 2.577 million barrels in March, 2.574 million barrels in February, and 2.554 million barrels in January.

Currently, Saudi Arabia is the largest oil producer within OPEC, with a daily production of 9.998 million barrels, followed by Iraq with 4.181 million barrels and the UAE with 2.894 million barrels.

Kuwait ranks fifth among OPEC producers, with a daily production of 2.551 million barrels.

Prior to the US sanctions in 2018, Iran held the position of the third-largest OPEC oil producer after Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
