Iran Press/ Middle East: Mohammad Mahdi Imanipour, head of the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization (ICCO), left Tehran for Damascus in order to participate in the opening ceremony of Iran's cultural week in Syria and to have an official bilateral meeting with the cultural authorities of this country.
According to Iran press news agency, the cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria is scheduled to be held in (September 28-October 4) with the presence of the Minister of Culture of Syria and the head of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communications and the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Damascus, Iranian men of thoughts and art enthusiasts , within the framework of memoranda of understandings on cultural issues exchanged by the two countries in Damascus.
In this cultural week, a group of Iranian artists in the field of handicrafts and visual and performing arts will display a part of Iranian Fine Islamic art and carpet industry by setting up an art exhibition.
Other parts of this cultural event are holding specialized meetings on the topic of women and family discussion, lifestyle and home occupations, and film screenings and workshops on filmmaking.
