Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that COVID-19 had ended 599 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 108,393.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 01, 2021, 5,025,233 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,237,315 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 33,170 cases, out of whom 4,357 patients were hospitalized.

7,860 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 29,006,289 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 306 cities are red, 110 are orange, and 32 are yellow zones.

So far, 19,009,623 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 9,058,204 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 28,067,827 doses.
