Iran Press/ Iran News: Seyyed Saeed-Reza Ameli wrote a message to religious leaders on Sunday, including the Leader of the World's Catholics, Pope Francis, President of Al-Azhar University in Egypt Mohamed-Hussein al-Mahrsawy, and a Jewish Rabbi and Leader of the Neturei Karta Movement Yisroel Dovid Weiss, saying that the coronavirus is a global issue and there is no difference between Muslims, Christians and Jews and followers of other religions in the fight against it.
Ameli highlighted that today, the first priority of all people should be to help the coronavirus patients and to support each other, adding that all human society should share their food, health, and medical supplies to fight against coronavirus.
Head of Iran’s Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution (SCCR) Seyyed Saeed Reza Ameli, on April 8 in a letter to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the head of Iran’s Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution (SCCR) stated that international political and legal measures are needed to overcome the global threat of coronavirus.
Ameli stressed that the pandemic has engulfed the universe, the attack of the wild virus must be taken as an opportunity to establish a peaceful movement to a more secure world freer from biologic weapons.
The head of Iran’s Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution (SCCR) expressed hope for a world full of justice, peace, spirituality, and free from any violence, dominance, war, and sanctions.
The novel coronavirus, which was identified late last year (2019) in Wuhan, China, has now spread to all parts of the world.
According to the latest statistics, nearly 1.8 million people in the world have been infected with the virus, and the total number of deaths has neared 110,000.
