Iran Press/ Iran news: Late Wednesday evening, two British-Iranian citizens, Nazanin Zaghari and Anoosheh Ashoori, touched down in the United Kingdom after being jailed in Iran for almost six years.
In the conversation with Sayyid Badr Al-Busaidi, foreign minister of Oman, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, referring to the close relations between the two countries, expressed hope for further development of bilateral ties.
Iran's top diplomat also praised the constructive and commendable role of the Omani monarchy in resolving some issues, including the case of security prisoners.
He refers to two British Iranian dual nationals who had been imprisoned in Iran and recently been released.
The Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Oman also emphasized the continuation of close relations between the two sides and expressed hope that the final steps in the Vienna talks would be taken as soon as possible.
