Iran Press/ Asia: The 16th meeting of Iran and Tajikistan's joint commission for economic, commercial, technical, and industrial cooperation was held from December 26 to 28 in Dushanbe, the capital city of Tajikistan.
The closing ceremony of the meeting was held with the presence of the Iranian Minister of Energy Ali-Akbar Mehrabian and the Tajik Minister of Energy and Water Reservoir.
Electrical communication between the two countries, construction projects of tunnels, dams, and power plants, as well as Iran's readiness to implement utility projects in Tajikistan, and training courses about water, were the areas of cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan over which documents of cooperation were signed. 219
