Iran Press/Asia: Stressing the need to further strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries, the Speaker of the National Assembly stated that the relations between the two brotherly countries are based on strong foundations of religion, history, and culture. Iran, being a brotherly neighbor of Pakistan, holds significant importance for Pakistan in maintaining its long-standing brotherly relations with Iran.
The Speaker emphasized Pakistan's determination to expand cooperation with Iran in parliamentary and economic sectors, highlighting the crucial role that parliamentary contacts in both countries can play in enhancing bilateral relations. He stated, "Promoting parliamentary and economic contacts with Iran is among our priorities. Parliamentary contacts can help bridge the gap between the people. In response, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, expressed Iran's appreciation for its brotherly relations with Pakistan. He commended Pakistan's role in promoting peace and stability in the region and identified opportunities for collaboration in energy, manufacturing, and other economic sectors between the two countries.
