Tehran (IP) - During weekdays ending up to August 20, 2020, while over 693,030 MT (Metric ton) of commodities worth over 1,238 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced growth of %12 and %2, respectively.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 244,689 MT of various products worth close to 592 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 240,804 MT of steel, 2,000 MT of aluminum, 1,040 MT of copper, 250 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 15 MT of precious metal concentrates, 580 MT of zinc ingot as well as 20 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 444,911 MT of different commodities with a total value of 779 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 127,000 MT of VB feed stock, 157,605 MT of bitumen, 72,825 MT of polymer products, 36,303 MT of chemical products, 38,043 MT of lube cut oil, 170 MT of argon, 1,160 MT of insulation, 1,717 MT of base oil as well as 5,130 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 3,430 MT of commodities and a commercial real estate were traded on the side market of the IME.   104/207
