Iran Press/Middle East: Masoud Shajareh said on Wednesday that in recent years some Islamic figures and organizations have kept absolute silence over Palestine's developments, while approximating to the Zionist groups.
Shajareh described the trend as dangerous and expressed hope that this year’s Quds Day will be a turning point for support of Palestine and administering Justice.
Announcing that this year’s Quds Day rally is cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, Shajareh reported a new campaign of 'Raising the Palestinian Flag for Justice' as the substitute program.
The participants are supposed to raise Palestine’s flag out of the mosque, Islamic centers, homes, cars, and places of work, publishing the movement images in cyber space.
In addition to Britain, the movement has quickly gained popularity in other countries that support the rights of the Palestinian people, he said.
According to the Islamic Human Rights Commission, more than 100 Islamic organizations from various countries, such as the United States, India, Mozambique, New Zealand, Finland, South Africa, Malaysia and Indonesia, have so far expressed their support for the movement.
