Gaza (IP)- The spokesperson for Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas armed wing, said: "We will inflict a greater defeat on the Zionist enemy than they anticipate."

Iran Press/ West Asia:  Abu Ubaida said that some of the shows of worshippers who go to mosques and churches in Gaza are "older than the lifespan of the transient occupation entity."

He warned the Israeli Occupation saying: "The transient occupation entity will face the curse of the eighth decade."

He addressed Arab leaders saying: "We do not ask you to mobilize armies to defend Gaza."

"We have taken it upon ourselves to cleanse the occupation with the resources we have created with our own hands."

He explained that there was dialogue regarding captives and prisoners, noting that "there was an opportunity to reach an agreement, but the enemy procrastinated."

If Israel wants to resolve hostage crisis, ‘we are ready’

Al-Qassam Brigades spokesman Abu Obaida says Israeli air strikes and shelling have killed 50 captives.

The “price” of returning all the captives in Gaza is the release of all Palestinian detainees held in Israeli prisons – estimated at about 6,600 people.

“If the enemy wants to resolve this issue, we are ready,” he said.

“If the enemy wants to close this file of detainees in one go, we are ready for it. If it wants to do it step-by-step, we are ready for that, too.”

Some 229 hostages are being held in the Gaza Strip, according to the Israeli army.
