Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Government Spokesman announced that President Ebrahim Raisi heads to Damascus on Wednesday at the official invitation of the Syrian president for a two-day visit, leading a "high economic-political delegation."

Iran PressIran News: Attending his press brief on May 2, 2023, Ali Bahadori-Jahromi said: Iran's Raisi visit will be the first by an Iranian president to Damascus since the start of the civil war in Syria in 2011.

During the 12-year crisis in Syria and the country's war with terrorists, the Islamic Republic of Iran provided support to the Syrian government against ISIS terrorists in the form of military advisors. Syrian authorities, including Bashar al-Assad, have repeatedly appreciated Iran's support.

Gov't comprehensive bill against sanctions supports Iranians' rights

Iran's Government Spokesman stated that reducing and neutralizing the effects of sanctions forms the pivot of the government's comprehensive bill to counter the sanctions.

Earlier, the Iranian government announced that it is working on a comprehensive bill aimed at countering sanctions against the Islamic Republic.

The Islamic Republic has been targeted by numerous sanctions imposed by Western states, particularly the United States, under different excuses ranging from human rights issues to Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

Ali Bahadori-Jahromi told Iran Press in his press brief on May 2, 2023: Reducing and neutralizing the effects of sanctions, and especially the effective support of foreign nationals affected by sanctions, is one of the main axes of the bill.

He further noted that various Iranian executive bodies are obliged to foresee the necessary mechanisms to deal with sanctions in the framework of their relations and contracts with foreign countries.

The official concluded: "Also, the executive bodies are required to identify, regulate, evaluate, and document the violated rights of the Iranians and send them to international authorities for follow-up."

 Tehran Neighborhood policy responsible for some $6bn. foreign investment

Speaking about the volume of foreign investment in the 13th administration under President, Raisi the Spokesman for Iran's government Ali Bahadori  Jahromi said: "From the inauguration of the 13th administration till the end of April 2023, foreign investment projects were approved and the foreign investment value of these approvals was ten billion and 765 million dollars."

Of course, the Foreign Investment Organization approved the investments, and according to that organization, at least 6 billion dollars out of the ten billion dollars announced for their investment have been confirmed, which it has mentioned as valid approved projects.

The 13th adminsitration has decided to invest 6 billion dollars in the Islamic Iran with the diplomacy of the neighborhood.
