Iran Press/ Africa: In an exclusive interview with the Iran Press in Accra, Mahmoud Mudi said that the ICC has the power and authority to issue a warrant of arrest for any person and is in the right direction.
He added: “The ICC has the power and authority to issue a warrant of arrest for anybody from any particular nation, it means that the nation has not been able to do well to arrest the particular person, so they have the mandate to do that. The ICC issued the arrest warrants on Netanyahu for alleged crimes against humanity and genocide committed during the October 7 terrorist attacks, and all this is happening while the world is saying nothing about it, exactly why the ICC issued this warrant.”
He further indicates that Netanyahu thinks himself untouchable and this will definitely slow down Netanyahu’s activities in the Middle East no matter what because he knows that when he continues then certain things will have to happen, and this will surely tone him down.
"The injustice in international politics is so clear that some people think they are better than others because they have some superpowers around them. There are so many injustices when it comes to international politics. The decision of the International Criminal Court to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is an extremely significant step," Mr. Modi said.
