He described the Red Crescent as a human-oriented organization wherein management is practiced from bottom to top, unlike other organizations.
Ghalibaf highlighted the role of the people-organized entity during the Sacred Defense, where its staff accompanied the army in the battleground against the enemy both with guns and rescue equipment to save their lives.
He referred to the Red Crescent's cooperation with the Red Cross Society to get the families of the Iranian captives about their situation in the Iraqi Baathist regime's prisons.
