Also, participating in the ceremony, Iran's Ambassador to Syria Hossein Akbari talked about the thoughts and personality of Martyr Soleimani and said that the thought has been universalized.
Late Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani is a brilliant international figure in the fight against terrorism, most recently eliminating the US-backed Daesh (ISIS) terrorist group in the West Asian Region.
Thanks to his endeavors and sacrifices a regional front, the Resistance Front, was formed in West Asia and stood against the domination of the arrogant powers in the region, eliminating their offspring like Daesh and Al-Qaeda from the region.
By the direct order of former US President Donal Trump on January 3, 2020, Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated in Baghdad along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 8 companions.
