The UK is holding the G7 presidency for 2021 in the Cornish resort of Carbis Bay for face-to-face meetings since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

G7 leaders are set to endorse a proposal by US President Joe Biden to impose a 15% minimum global tax on corporations.

Most of the conversations take place behind closed doors.

The G7 (Group of Seven) is an organization of the world's seven largest so-called advanced economies. They are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the United States.

Representatives from the European Union are present, while India, South Korea, and Australia have also been invited.
