Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi, said on Wednesday that the Saudi-UAE invaders, along with their mercenaries, are now looking to break up Yemen, having failed in their bid to break the will and subdue the resistance of the Yemeni people during the past five years.
Mousavi added: "The Saudis have lost all hope of winning the Yemen war, but they now want to disintegrate the country."
Mousavi reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported a "united Yemen" and considers the safeguarding of the integrity of Yemen as a shared responsibility for all the Yemeni people, Iran Press reported.
After the invasion of Yemen, the Saudi-UAE invasion coalition has occupied parts of the country and used local and foreign mercenaries to carry out operations against Yemeni forces.
The Saudi-imposed war on Yemen started in March 2015. More than 16,000 Yemenis have been killed in the war, tens of thousands have been injured, and millions of Yemenis have been displaced from their homes. 101/211/216
