Iran Press/ Europe: IAEA director-general, Rafael Grossi, arriving at Vienna airport after returning from Tehran, told reporters: "We do not normally reveal because this is part of the confidential safeguard information we have, but I can tell you that they have been agreed and it is very, very soon."
Grossi pointed to the IAEA-Iran agreement, announced in a joint statement on Wednesday to voluntarily provide the UN nuclear watchdog with access to two locations in the country, saying: "So the statement recognizes that we have agreed on that. The inspectors will have access to these sites. We have agreed on the dates for this. We have agreed on the basic modalities for this. This is extremely important. We have also agreed or recognized, that these activities that we are going to have there are related to nuclear material or possible related nuclear activities."
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran) agreed to further reinforce their cooperation and enhance mutual trust to facilitate the full implementation of Iran’s Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement (CSA) and the Additional Protocol (AP) thereto, which is provisionally applied by Iran since 16 January 2016.
