Iran, Russia discuss regional developments

Iranian ambassador to Moscow and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister discussed developments in the West Asian region.

Iran Press/Europe: Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali and Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov discussed bilateral relations, and security developments in the region, especially the Zionist-American "Deal of the Century".

During the meeting, Jalali and Bagdanov stressed the need for Iran-Russia consultations and cooperation continuity on bilateral and regional issues.

Zionist Regime under US-supported plan of the "Deal of the Century" was supposed to implement to add 30 percent of the West Bank to the occupied territories on Wednesday, July 1, however, with the pressure of the Palestinians and many other countries and the opposition of the Palestinians, the regime was forced to postpone the implementation of the annexation plan.

On July 8, the Iranian ambassador to Moscow expressed hope that the joint Iranian-Russian projects in the fields of energy, transportation, agriculture, and trade would be completed sooner with the elimination of bureaucracy.

The meeting of the Energy Working Group of the Joint Commission of Iran and Russia was held via a video conference with the participation of the Deputy Ministers of Oil and Energy of Iran and the Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia.
