Iran Press/ Europe: In a statement on Thursday, the Iranian embassy in Kyiv stated that Tehran's responses to the Ukrainian officials have been presented either in the form of official notes or in Iranian officials' meetings with the Ukrainian side.
Iran has always announced its readiness to negotiate with the Ukrainian side in accordance with international rules, and has provided a comprehensive text to the Ukrainian side in recent months, which has so far gone unanswered, the statement said.
The Iranian Embassy in Kyiv reminded that the readiness of the Iranian side for the resumption of the negotiations between the two countries as of July 20 was announced to the Ukrainian Embassy in Tehran, with the Iranian capital now awaiting the date to be offered by Ukraine.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Mohsen Baharvand recently referred to the black-box of the Ukrainian plane crash saying that the black-box will be transferred to France by the Iranian Airlines team, and the extraction and reading of its information will begin on July 20.
"Other countries that are somehow involved in the unfortunate accident can send representatives to France as observers," Baharvand said.
The Boeing 737-800 plane belonging to Ukraine International Airlines crashed near Tehran minutes after the plane had taken-off from Imam Khomeini International Airport in the early hours of January 8.
All the 167 passengers and 9 crew members on board were killed in the tragic accident.
The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said in a statement that the Ukrainian Boeing 737 plane was shot down due to human error at a time of heightened tensions and a threat of war with the US.
