Ghraibabadi: Last multilateralism stronghold in danger

Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the international organizations in Vienna warned over the US and its allies' movements in the quarterly meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors.

Iran Press/Europe:  In a tweet on Thursday, Kazem Gharibabadi described Vienna as the last barricade of multilateralism that has managed to preserve its pure soul in the recent years.

Gharibabadi warned if the IAEA Board of Governors does not show the necessary foresight, it will, unfortunately, turn to a forgotten story.

With regard to some false allegations made by the Saudi ambassador at a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, he noted that there is no need to a deep political talent to understand what is going on in the region.

Gharibabadi added it is ridiculous that the Saudis accuse Iran of being involved in the conflict in the region, while their hands are stained with the blood of the Syrian, Libyan, Iraqi and Yemeni people.

Elsewhere in his explanation Gharibabadi pointed to the US baseless claims in the IAEA Board of Governors and asserted that the unilateral and illegal actions of the US administration against Iran and other countries indicate the fact that the US shows no respect for the international norms, principles, laws, and relations.

Also in reaction to such claims by the Israeli regime in the IAEA Board of Governors, the Iranian envoy recalled the infamous record of the regime in ignoring Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty (NPT) and said the record has left no option for the regime but to clean its stained hands by others' blame.
