Tehran (IP) - In a meeting with commanders and senior officials of Iran's Armed Forces on Sunday afternoon, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that the enemy's seemingly insurmountable calculations and military might can be vanquished.

Iran PressIran News: According to the Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, while the Americans may have had interests in Iraq and Afghanistan, their true objective was Iran; However, despite their failed attempts to achieve this goal, the Iranian Revolution stands steadfast, with a formidable foundation that can repel any hostile incursion.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "If rational action is taken, it is possible to defeat the enemy's calculations."

Ayatollah Khamenei called these forces the strong fences of the country and the nation in the words of Imam Ali (AS) and noted: "This position is very great. It brings heavy responsibilities that, thank God, the armed forces are busy fulfilling their duties with the appreciation of this proud position."

Expressing his satisfaction with the continuous movement and progress in the armed forces, the Leader addressed the commander: "Don't be satisfied with strength and progress at all and move forward without stopping."

The Commander-in-Chief, referring to the verse of the Holy Quran, called constant preparation a command of God and a source of fear for the enemies of God and the nation, and added: "The threat will never disappear completely, so you should increase your preparations as much as you can."

The Leader of the revolution also called the readiness of the armed forces for deterring enemies and vigilance against the behind-the-scene planners absolutely necessary.

Referring to the words and possible actions of the less powerful elements, he said: "We should not focus our minds on such actions and words, but we should see the main planners behind the scenes."

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces referred to the warmongering of evil international forces in different parts of the world, noting: "Arrogance starts a conflict from behind the scenes wherever it sees benefits."

Focusing on the enemy's long-term plans was another important point that the leader of the revolution emphasized to the commanders and senior officials of the armed forces.

In the same context, Ayatollah Khamenei said: It is good and necessary to pay close attention to the enemy's five- or ten-year plans, but his mid-term and long-term plans should be considered and monitored.

Referring to the two wars that the US started in the east and west of Iran about two decades ago, the commander-in-chief said: "Americans had interests in Iraq and Afghanistan, but their ultimate goal was Islamic Iran, which, due to the very strong foundations of the Islamic revolution, they failed in these adventures for their ultimate goal."

Ayatollah Khamenei noted: "Therefore, the enemy can be defeated with all his seemingly solid calculations and military power."

The Leader highlighted the current situation of the Zionist regime as another example of such failures and said: "The Zionist regime's anti-Palestinian operation in the month of Ramadan last year did not have a particular reaction in the world, but this year there will be demonstrations against its crimes, even in the United States and the UK."

The Commander-in-Chief considered it important not to ignore the enemy, along with believing in its invincibility, and added: "At no stage should one ignore the enemy's machinations and designs".

Before the speech of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Bagheri, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, gave a report on the plans and actions of the Armed Forces in various dimensions.
