Iran Press/Middle East: In an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV channel on Tuesday, Hashim Safi Al Din added that some Arab regimes are trying to create great hope for their plan by normalizing relations with the Zionist regime.
Emphasizing on confronting the Zionist regime for the liberation of the holy city of Quds, he said: "Regardless of how Quds is liberated, we are fulfilling our duty and preparing ourselves for any confrontation."
The senior Lebanese Hezbollah official said the main goal of the resistance in the region was the liberation of the holy city of Quds and reminded that it was a duty to be prepared to confront the Zionist regime.
"We are ready to face any aggression or foolishness committed by the Zionist regime," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Hashim Safi Al-Din emphasized that Hezbollah is not trying to provoke a war, saying: "The resistance is now confident and aware of its way and option to face the enemy."
The head of Hezbollah's Executive Council also noted the importance of marking international Quds Day and explained: "We are on the anniversary of the important and valuable occasion."
Quds Day, officially called International Quds Day, is an annual event held on the last Friday of Ramadan that was initiated by the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran to express support for the Palestinians and oppose Zionism and Israel.
