Iran Press/Middle East: With the support of the colonialists, criminal Zionism first occupied the land of Palestine in 1948 and then Beit-ul-Moqaddas.
53 years have passed since the Arab-Israeli war in June 1967 and the occupation of Beit-ul-Moqaddas. Over the years, the issue of Zionist occupation has been covered up by so-called peace plans in the region and peace talks. That is why the solutions to the problem of occupation of Palestine have not yet been achieved and have failed.
In this regard, with the presidency of Donald Trump, a new plan called "The Deal of the Century" was unveiled with the aim of ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. A plan that many observers believe will fail, as in previous plans, because none of them reflect the true rights of the Palestinian people.
Recognition of Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime, the transfer of 30 percent of the West Bank to Israel, opposition to the return of Palestinian refugees to their country, and the complete disarmament of Palestine are among the main provisions of the "The Deal of the Century".
According to this sinister US-Zionist plan, the Palestinian state will be formed in the Gaza Strip and only in "A", "B" areas and parts of the "C" area in the West Bank, and the final status of Quds city will be postponed to further negotiations.
The plan addresses the issue of refugees under the "alternative homeland" formula outside of occupied Palestine so that the "right of return" of Palestinian refugees to their home country is forgotten forever.
In the last step, the negotiations for a "compromise" between the Zionist regime and the Arab countries, led by Saudi Arabia, will begin.
The "Deal of the Century" is, in fact, a continuation of the conspiracy designed by the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia to change the security equations in the region and to take full control of the Islamic world.
Stressing that "Deal of the Century" has political dimensions, Palestinian analyst Majed al-Kayali, says" the purpose of this plan is to disintegrate the unity of the Palestinian people and to maintain the political existence of the Palestine Authority within its borders in an autonomous government for the nation and not for the land and to separate the Arab regimes from the Palestinian issue, turning it into the last priority and considering the Israeli occupying regime as an active and important component in the region.
Salah Abdel-Ati, director of the Palestinian Centre for Political Research and Studies (Masarat) in Gaza, also about the nature of the Deal of the Century highlighted, "The real show is the promotion of the Deal is the silent annexation of the West Bank to Israel (the occupied territories) and the siege of the Gaza Strip and its secession from other parts of the Palestinian homeland and pressure on the PA and national groups to accept the plan."
The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the violated rights of the Palestinian people can only be achieved by ending the occupation of Palestinian land and realization of the full rights of this nation, including the right to self-determination.
