The Spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Fawzi Barhoum

Middle East (IP) - The Spokesman for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the Israeli regime wants to erase the facts by violating the rights of journalists and suppressing them.

Iran PressMiddle East: Fawzi Barhoum said on Sunday night the regime is trying to dissuade journalists, through intimidation, from continuing to play their role in exposing the crimes of the Israeli occupiers against the Palestinian people.

Barhoum called on the International Federation of Journalists and International entities and other Human Rights bodies to take immediate action to support Palestinian journalists and media outlets.

Hamas Spokesman also stressed the trial of the Zionist regime’s leaders in international courts for the murder, detention, torture, and violation of the rights of Palestinian journalists.

Currently, 12 Palestinian journalists are being held captive by the Zionist regime.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the Palestinians jailed in the Israeli prisons are constantly subjected to physical, psychological, or inhumane treatment.
