The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the International Criminal Court's (ICC) report on Palestinians’ rights to bring the Zionist regime to trial.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on Sunday welcomed International Criminal Court's chief prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda’s report over the Palestinian’s right to refer to the International Court of Justice to bring the Zionist regime to justice abiding by the international law.

OIC also stressed the significance of the move due to its role to protect the right of the Palestinians as well as strengthening the credibility of the international justice system and human rights and its role in ending the occupier regime's ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.

The opening of a new case of the Zionist regime's crimes in the International Criminal Court has always angered the officials of this regime and the United States.

Fatou Bom Bensouda is a Gambian lawyer and international criminal law prosecutor. She has been the International Criminal Court's chief prosecutor since June 2012, after having served as a Deputy Prosecutor in charge of the Prosecutions Division of the ICC since 2004 and having been minister of justice of the Gambia.
