Iran\'s envoy recieves Iraqi Kurdistan Deputy PM in Baghdad

Iran's ambassador to Baghdad met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region to discuss the development of bilateral relations.

Iran Press/Middle East: Iraj Masjedi met with Qubad Talabani on Thursday at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad to discuss the expansion of cooperation and relations between the two sides. 

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Qubad Talabani arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday. 

Iran and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq have good cooperation in various political, economic, and scientific fields due to their commonalities in various aspects. 

Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad Iraj Masjedi has met with President of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Nechirvan Barzani in Erbil on October 2019.

During the meeting, Masjedi and Barzani discussed Iran-KRG relations and ways to expand them, as well as the developments in Iraq and the region.

It came after the Iranian envoy met with Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government Masrour Barzani during his visit to Erbil.
