Iran Press/Middle East: Saudi warplanes continued to carry out airstrikes against several areas across Yemen despite claims of the halt of aggression by the Saudi regime, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said Wednesday.
In the past 24 hours, Saudi military aircraft conducted 26 strikes against areas across Yemen, Brigadier General Yahya Saree said, as Almasirah reported.
He added that the provinces of Jawf, Ma’rib, and Sa’ada were each bombed 15, 8 and 3 times, respectively.
The Yemeni network Almasirah also reported that the Saudi aggression against Yemen had violated the ceasefire more than 80 times in al-Hudaidah province, west of the country.
The assaults come days after the Saudi-led coalition claimed it was halting military operations in Yemen in support of UN efforts to end the five-year war and avoid the outbreak of the coronavirus in war-wracked Yemen.
