Iran Press/Middle East: Iraqi top Shia cleric, politician, and the leader of the Sadrist Movement Muqtada al-Sadr said on Wednesday night that Iraqis must try hard to put an end to the presence of the occupiers and to curb their influence and interference in Iraqi affairs.
Al-Sadr also said that a new and strong Iraqi government must be formed as soon as possible to restore the country's independence.
In the first Iraqis Parliament session after the assassination of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport, Iraqi parliamentarians considered a plan to deport US troops from its territory.
They chanted "No to America" at the beginning of the public session.
