Ebrahim Amin al-Sayyed (L) met Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mahmoud Qamati (R)

The chairman of the political council of Lebanon's Hezbollah confirmed the Lebanese' economic and livelihood demands and stressed that the next government must realize the demands as soon as possible.

Iran Press/Middle East: Ebrahim Amin al-Sayyed in a meeting with the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mahmoud Qamati on Thursday said that the duty of the new cabinet must be supplying people's livelihoods and supporting production sectors.

Qamati also called for prompt forming the new cabinet, noting that Hezbollah will take part in the future new government, Iran Press reported.

"Relying on the nation, the army and the resistance protect Lebanon from the Israeli regime and US policy with its sedition in the region," the two sides of the meeting stressed.

The Lebanese people have been holding demonstrations since October 17 to protest economic problems and livelihood conditions in the country, which led to the resignation of the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri.

Until the appointment of the new prime minister, Saad al-Hariri will serve as an interim head of government.205/216
