Lebanon Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah

Lebanon's Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said the current financial crisis in the country is the result of dozens of years, everybody is held responsible.

Iran Press/Middle East: Speaking on the occasion of Arbaeen Seyyed Nasrallah said, "It’s shameful that some are shirking responsibility, especially those who partook in all previous cabinets."

"What happened throughout these couple of days confirms that solving problems through taxes will lead to crises," he added.

All parties are held responsible before what the country is witnessing, Hezbollah leader noted adding, "In the current situation, there are two major dangers; the first is financial and economic collapse, the second is the danger of a popular explosion."

Scores of people are protesting in Beirut and other parts of Lebanon over the government's plans to impose new taxes amid a harsh economic crisis in the country.

Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah addressed Lebanese protesters and said: "If we cooperate, gave priority to economic state, we will be able to save our country."

"Lebanese people will accept sacrifices if it was imposed on everybody not only the poor," he said adding: "There’s a deep distrust from people towards the authority."

Any new parliamentary elections will bring the same current parliament Lebanon's Hezbollah leader emphasized and said that the protesters’ message is aimed towards all political forces, concerned authorities shall move as per this message.

Seyyed Nasrallah to those who want to overthrow the presidency said: "you’re wasting your time".
