Iranian Goodwill Ambassador of the World Crisis of the Century Mehdi Karimi-Tafreshi said that despite the sanctions in the past 40 years, Iran has still stood on its own feet.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking in a press conference on the occasion of being chosen as the Goodwill Ambassador of the World Crisis of the Century, Mehdi Karimi-Tafreshi said that despite the pressures and sanctions imposed by the United States, the Islamic Republic of Iran always seeks peace and goodwill. 

"Iran has still stood on its own feet and the Iranian nation has got the top positions in the international arenas like NASA and Google," he stressed.

The Goodwill Ambassador added that Iran's production line is active in spite of being grappled with the toughest sanctions and nothing can stop its improvement.

"While the country is facing and fighting with the economic war in the world, the young generations are active to create job opportunities by their self-belief," he stated. 

Iranian Goodwill Ambassador of the World Crisis of the Century also referred to the efforts of the Iranian medical staff to find a treatment for the novel coronavirus as the global pandemic, highlighted Iranian producers' activities despite being under pressure of both coronavirus and sanctions. 

"Iran has actively stood and combat against them," he stated.
