Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the al-Quds al-Sharif International Congress on Tuesday, Khaled Qaddoumi said: "The challenge of the so-called 'Deal of the Century', imposed on Palestine by the US and Zionist regime, will be broken by resistance, and we must have a united political vision inside Palestine, and all groups inside and outside, along with Palestine, must oppose the Deal of the Century."
Hamas' representative in Iran said Palestine is facing serious challenges, adding: "It is true that the Zionist regime has the strongest and most advanced weapons, but this does not mean that we cannot defeat them."
He added: "We can surprise Israel, which means that even if Gaza is under siege, we can challenge and counter this regime."
"Unity is very important for Palestine, and unity must be our priority, and there must be a common vision at the regional and international levels, and all those who are committed to the axis of resistance must be united," Khaled Qaddoumi said.
In another part of his speech, he stated: "The opposition to the Zionist regime must be put into action and not be limited to verbal stance, because now the United States and Israel are implementing parts of the Deal of the Century and want to annex parts of Palestine to the Zionist regime."
"That's why we have to take action in addition to taking a stand," he added.
Qaddoumi said: "We must deal with the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime. Those countries who seek this must know that normalization will not have any good results and these countries are currently facing many economic problems."
He added: "The Zionist regime is a threat to international security and therefore we must stand against it with all our power."
He called on the free people of the world to stand by Palestine and support justice and freedom until "the cancerous gland of Israel" is destroyed forever.
The second day of al-Quds al-Sharif International Congress was held on Tuesday in Qom city, south to Tehran.
The Congress, in which cultural, political and scientific figures from different countries of the world give a speech via video conferencing, is underway on May 18-19, on the occasion of the International Quds Day.
