Tehran (IP) - Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour has confirmed that a meeting to find ways of managing the Coronavirus outbreak is still continuing with Iran's Minister of Health attending.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of Wednesday's Emergency Operations Center meeting to find ways of countering the Coronavirus outbreak, Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour stated: "The meeting for management and control of Coronavirus still continues with the attendance of ministers who are chairing various committees, the Minister of Health, and officials of other ministries and military officials."

"The negotiations are focused on restricting traffic limitations and discussing the needed equipment to support the healthcare sector in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus and bring the disease under control.  They have not yet made final decisions, but the results will be announced shortly. The decision on how to best manage the Coronavirus outbreak will be announced weekly, based on areas, priorities and risk factors," Jahanpour further noted.

Now, Iran's medical capacity is capable of controlling the virus in the shortest possible time. Iran, which in the most difficult times, has been the ultimate victor, will also emerge victorious from the Corona upheaval.

The virus has now spread to more than 40 other countries around the world. According to the latest statistics, more than 81,000 people have been infected with the virus in the world, of which more than 30,000 have recovered and more than 2,700 died.
