Tehran (IP) - Iran’s Foreign Minister referred to Iran’s 11th round of parliamentary elections and the first midterm Assembly of Experts' elections which will be held tomorrow on February 21, saying the elections will prove the Iranians will not surrender, and this message will be understood by the world.

Iran Press/Iran newsMohammad Javad Zarif wrote on his Instagram page on Thursday night, hours before the start of elections, that ‘Friday’ will be the echo of the message that the Iranians are loyal, they respond peace with peace and respect with respect but they will never surrender.

He said that standing in front of cruelty is a result of the Iranian culture, and described it as a "weapon of beauty" that has protected Iran for many years.

The Foreign Minister also stressed that during all the years of his service to the country, he had been tasked with defending “all of Iran”.

The 11th round of parliamentary elections and the first midterm Assembly of Experts' elections will be held tomorrow on February 21.

The Candidates for both elections ended the campaign, at 8 am on February 20, twenty-four hours before the election. The campaign had begun on February 13.
