Bojnurd (IP) - Head of Department of Environment Issa Kalantari has said Iran has good interaction with regional countries in the field of environment.

Iran PressIran news: During his visit to Bojnurd on Monday, the capital of North Khorasan province, northeast of Iran, Issa Kalantari spoke to Iran Press  about the extent of participation of regional countries in environmental projects, and said: "As far as combating dust particles  is concerned, and also on water management in the border area, Iran has good cooperation with neighbouring countries."

He further expressed hope that neighbouring and regional countries should have an 'Environmental Impact Assessment' like Iran.

"Iran is the only country in the Caspian Sea that all its projects in the past 10 years had Environmental Impact Assessments," the Iranian vice president added.

During the visit of Issa Kalantari to Bojnourd, 675 development projects came into operation in North Khorasan province to commemorate the 'Ten-Day-Dawn celebrations'.

The celebration is held between 1 and 11 February annually. The celebration starts on February 1 coincide with the arrival of Imam Khomeini from Paris to Tehran and ends with the Islamic Revolution's Victory Day on 11 February (corresponding to 22 of Bahman in Iranian calendar).
