Iran Press/Iran news: "Iran is a powerful and victorious country, that is the reason for which the US government assassinated Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani", Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said, adding, " The US government is the symbol of terrorism.
Pointing out to Iran's progress during the past decades, the military official reiterated that Iran is now a powerful country in the medical, agricultural, communication, road, and defense sectors. "All of our military needs are met within the country," Shekarchi went on to say.
According to an Iran Press report, Shekarchi referred to the solidarity of oppressed people around the world against the US, UK governments as well as their supporters, described the terror of the revered Qassem Soleimani as an indication of diminishing US power.
Talking about the recent missiles attack against the US military base in Iraq, Abolfazl Shekarchi stated that "the US government is getting debilitated and it will be diminished. The more they put pressure on our nation and our leadership, the more we get stronger."
The military spokesman talked about the upcoming parliamentary election, noting "All of the domestic problems should be resolved inside the country, therefore, we need to have an effective parliament that pursues and resolves people's problems."
